History Summit Pacific Metal Sales has been in sheet metal fabrication since the 1970's. With a background in roofing and sheet metal beginning almost 30 years ago, the manufacturing of metal roofing systems was the next logical advancement. To satisfy the ever-growing demand for quality concealed fastener roofing systems, we brought the manufacturing to the High Sierras. Metal roofing became popular in the 1970's because it is fireproof and allows heavy snow loads to slide. Soon we learned that the proper panel design and paint finish combined with proven installation details can more than double the life of the early metal roofing systems.
Products Our flagship roofing system, Snap-Lock Standing Seam, went on line in 1991. It's success led us to the design and development of Perma-Lock Standing Seam, the most affordable Kynar-500 finished standing seam profile available. Available in durable 24 and 26 gauge steel, they offer a wide array of colors and price ranges that fit any budget.
Performance Our concealed fastener standing seam roofing systems are manufactured with state-of-the-art computer controlled multi-station rollformers and are ideal for even the most demanding needs in commercial, residential, and industrial uses. These structural and architectural metal roofing systems are tested by the most stringent testing criteria. And they are proven with millions of square feet in place holding up under some of the toughest wind and snow loads in the world.Support We have a very strong background in metal roofing systems and installations. Our experienced and friendly staff is ready, willing and able to provide you with technical service and support throughout the planning, installation, and completed stages of the work. We have up-to-date Installation and Details Guides, Ordering Guides, Ordering Templates, Color Selection Guides, fully computerized Quotations, Sales Order Confirmations and Production Acknowledgments, a complete showroom with our extensive 35 color spectrum and panel configurations. We have everything you need to get your job done in the fastest and most affordable way possible.
Innovation We are the pioneers of ultra low-gloss finishes. Our exclusive ultra low-gloss provides a much more attractive, deeper color richness not found in conventional finishes. Since there are great efforts to preserve the beauty of Lake Tahoe and the High Sierras, contractors, property owners, building officials, and local governing agencies laud our special low-gloss formulations.
Our panel configurations are the the most innovative around. Since we were deeply involved in the research and development of our profiles from the very concept stage, our roofing systems meet the most demanding performance criteria while being very affordable and easy to install.Technology A more recent advancement at Summit Pacific is our new CNC folding technology. Computer controlled folding technology allows us to fabricate the fastest and most accurate accessories and custom flashings anywhere. Our fabrications are accurate to within .004", leaving the competition far behind.
